Ingredients and their benefits
Vijaysar (Pterocarpus m.)–According to Ayurveda, Vijayasar is good for managing high sugar level by improving the metabolism due to its Tikta (bitter) and Kapha-Pitta balancing properties.
Vijayasar also helps manage diabetic related symptoms like frequent urination, excessive thirst, fatigue etc.
Karela (bitter gourd): Karela is known worldwide for its use in treating diabetes. They produce the biochemical compounds which are analogous to the p-insulin and many researchers have shown their continuous intake has substituted the insulin.
Gurmari (Glycirrhiza g.): The exceptional anti-diabetic characteristics of gurmari leaves are used as an effective supplement to regulate blood sugar spikes and metabolic syndrome. It promotes insulin response to food and lessens the need for insulin therapy and oral hypoglycemic medications.
Jamun (Syzygium.c): According to Ayurveda, jamun helps with diabetes management. The ingredient like jamboline present in the seeds slows down the amount of sugar released in the blood and increase insulin levels. Jamun reduces diabetic symptoms like frequent urination and thirst.
Tejpatta (Indian Bay Leaf): It is a well known antioxidant. Also it acts as calorie buster and helps combat diabetes.
